Let's talk about relationships? No, not here to talk about how you can get along better with your spouse..that's another conference. Instead, let's talk about the relationship of identity data to security. Over the past two decades, we've built monolithic IAM applications which store and control data that pertains to you. Everything from what you have access to, usage patterns around that access, preferences, color schemes, etc. Yet we are just starting to understand how to use the context to help keep our systems and data secure. Zero trust is now a reality, but what does it actually mean in real-world actions? In this talk, I'll address the identity data relationships we currently have, and how we can go about infusing those into the rest of our security architecture.
