Marco Pernpruner is a PhD Student in the context of the PhD Program in Security, Risk and Vulnerability, jointly offered by Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) and the University of Genoa, in Italy. He obtained his Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Verona in 2019, with a thesis dealing with the design and security analysis of an authentication solution relying on eID cards and push notifications. He is currently involved in the Security & Trust Research Unit at FBK, in the context of a joint laboratory between FBK and the Italian Government Printing Office and Mint (Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato Italiano, responsible for producing Italian eID cards) whose main goal is to conduct research and innovation activities in digital identity solutions based on Italian eID cards.
