Jon Prisby currently serves as the Lead of the Biometric and Identity Technology Center (BI-TC) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate. Prior to joining DHS, Jon worked as a senior product manager at several startups in healthcare, supply chain risk management using big data, artificial intelligence, and human centered design to solve complex abstract problems and deliver simple delightful experiences via Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms. Before going back to the private sector in 2019, Jon was a civic technologist serving as a co-founder and deputy director of login.gov in 18F General Services Administration (GSA). He started his career in consulting for cyber security, software development, counter terrorism and healthcare and kept finding an enduring interest in digital identity across sectors.
