Nick Steele is a security researcher and identity expert from Brooklyn, New York. He is a contributor and co-chair in the W3C, where has been working on WebAuthn and its adoption since 2017. He is currently a Staff Product Manager at 1Password (where he hopes to change the name to 0Password) and was previously Technical Research Leader at Cisco Systems and Duo Labs, where he focussed on passwordless technology and digital identity. He likes bees, surfing, and occasionally, computers.
