Wayne Hilt is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Huntington Bank. His career spans 20+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information risk management, and resiliency management in the financial, energy / utility, government, education, and consulting sectors.

Prior to joining Huntington, Wayne has held numerous global positions including Executive Director - Office of the CISO at Optiv, Managing Director of Cybersecurity (CISO) at NiSource, and Global Head of Consumer Cybersecurity Operations at JPMorgan Chase. He has significant experience in dealing with the issues faced by cybersecurity and risk organizations across multiple industry verticals and has developed and delivered numerous large-scale programs within corporations of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 10 companies.

Throughout his career, Wayne has worked with executive leadership teams, boards of directors, and many security practitioners and leaders to assess, develop, guide, and improve cybersecurity management programs aligned to business goals and objectives. He has also been a frequent public speaker on executive and board-level cybersecurity engagement, cybersecurity as a business enabler, identity-centric security, and other various other cybersecurity topics.

Wayne received his bachelor of arts from West Virginia University in English Literature.
