Jeff Jaynes is a technology and identity veteran focused on modernizing how enterprises establish trust for systems, services, and automation. For the past 15 years, Jeff has specialized in Identity & Access Management, designing and operating large-scale identity platforms that support secure, distributed architectures.
Today, Jeff is deeply focused on Non-Human Identity (NHI)—driving the transition from password-based service accounts and static secrets to short-lived, cryptographic, attested identities for workloads, APIs, pipelines, and agents. He is passionate about eliminating password-based non-human accounts entirely and replacing them with identity-first, Zero Trust–aligned models that can support cryptographic agility and post-quantum requirements. Jeff brings a pragmatic, systems-level perspective to the convergence of IAM and cryptography.
