Location: Denver, CO
Description: If there has been any benefit to the pandemic for those of us in information security, Zero Trust security has become an established concept up to the executive board level. The forced drive to work from home has placed much of this focus on securing the user and their devices.
This, however, is a frightening microfocus. While there is much importance in securing the user and moving to higher levels of assurance, we can’t forget the problems that exist to the right of the firewall. However, the firewall has already disappeared. Zero Trust is a paradigm for implementing security, providing a multi-layered approach to ensure all identities, human or not, are authenticated, authorized, and governed continuously.
In this session, we will walk through the patterns to shift the identity left with the world’s largest employers. We will cover not only the tools but also the processes and people competencies (technical and non-technical) to bring everything back into your own organizations. More importantly, we’ll discuss how to shift identity to the right, bring DevSecOps into your identity programs, and set up the journey to Zero Trust success.
