Jonathan Prisby is the Deputy Director of Biometric and Identity Technology Center (BI-TC) at the US Department of Homeland Security which provides objective biometric and identity capabilities to DHS, enables operational components to cost-effectively use new technologies, and informs strategic planning and acquisitions of new biometric and identity capabilities. Jon is a hard-working, results-oriented, and positive-minded senior professional with over 10 years of experience in person identity including biometrics, secure documents, biographic data and data flows. Jon has led and managed cross-functional teams and developed product strategy and performed product management for US Government and private sector companies. John previously served as a product manager and Deputy Director of 18F, a design and technology consultancy within the federal government that serves government agencies. During this tenure Jon lead a government wide data sharing effort, which involved identity proofing acquisition, execution, and operations for the cross-government identity initiative login.gov.
