Tim Cappalli is an Identity Standards Architect in Microsoft's Identity Division where he works on standards and strategy for phishing-resistant authentication, digital identity wallets, security signal sharing for zero trust, and identity related browser experiences and APIs. Tim has been driving the industry-wide passkey initiative for Microsoft, working closely with the FIDO Alliance, W3C, developers, regulators, and other organizations to bring a new default phishing-resistant credential to the digital world.
