Loffie Jordaan is a Business Solutions Architect at the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA). He currently works on mobile driver’s licenses, on systems helping the many US issuers ensure that a person has only one driver’s license, and on related identity initiatives. His prior background includes consulting to issuing authorities in the area of driver license and motor vehicle administration covering process engineering, technology assessment, system specification compilation, and procurement (including RFP development, bid evaluation, and contract management).
Mr Jordaan has been active in driver license standardization since 1999, and currently serves as the convenor of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC17/WG10. This ISO working group is dedicated to driver’s license standardization, and currently focuses on the mobile driver’s license concept.
