In 2018, the Better Identity Coalition published a blueprint for the U.S. government outlining five key policy initiatives that, if implemented and funded, would solve the majority of our challenges in the digital identity

space.  Some of those recommendations have been embraced while others have been ignored.  Earlier this year, the Coalition published an update to its policy blueprint with a report card evaluating how well government has done at the five-year mark – with one A, a few Bs, and a very sad D – as well as a revised action plan for policymakers.  This session will explore the report card and outline where government should focus next to meet future identity challenges.
