Michelle Wan is a Senior Development Engineering Manager of Security Products at Workday. In her 8+ years at Workday, Michelle played diverse roles - she started as a software application developer and soon transitioned into a managerial role. Michelle often pursues new ideas that require cross-functional partnerships including product management, security and customer support teams. Currently, she leads the engineering team responsible for authorization, enabling Workday customers to control what data users can access, implement their organizations’ security policies and update them at scale. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. She is a member of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) and has spoken at events such as Grace Hopper Celebration and Cyversity Conference.
