After starting his career as an IT Systems Administrator, Danny spent a few years supporting Azure AD(now Entra)'s provisioning and synchronization products for many of the world's largest organizations. That eventually led to joining Microsoft's Identity engineering organization where his focus changed to trying to improve the 3rd party developer experience for integrating with Entra. Danny has developed passion for identity automation and governance, and for the power that open internet standards can have in connecting and securing the world. He is most known for his involvement in the SCIM working group, which started as the COVID pandemic in 2020 led to exponential growth of SCIM-based provisioning and magnified many of the problems that existed. Outside of identity, his hobbies include participating in video game tournaments and for 4-6 months a year battling against the sometimes relentless snow that falls on Minnesota.
