Session Abstract: Implementing Zero Trust has been a priority for companies for some time, and now it’s an Executive Order. It is so desired that it commands a substantial portion of the security budget – 39% of security spending in the next year is earmarked for Zero Trust initiatives.
However, no Zero Trust model can exist without a rock-solid identity foundation. From an identity team perspective, this means implementing step-up authentication at varying levels, continuous security checks in background processes, and ongoing credentials passed across distributed IT solutions. All of this needs to be done without annoying your users, or worse - annoying your customers.
In this session, Davis and David will walk through the Identity-focused framework they used to implement Zero Trust for both the workforce and customers, and how the Identity team continues to play an integral role at Honeywell.
They will share the details of the key players - business stakeholders, IAM team, application teams, technology partners, and others. Finally, they will show you some of the implementation strategies they employed, along with considerations such as funding and planning.
This session will equip leaders to embark on their Identity focused journey towards Zero Trust, with a roadmap to success.
