Amy Shuart is the Head of North America Government Affairs at Onfido. She has spent over 15 years in Washington, DC in policy roles in both the Legislative and Executive Branches. For over a decade, she worked for the Committee on Ways and Means at the House of Representatives, most recently as the Social Security Subcommittee Staff Director. In 2022, she was appointed by the House of Representatives to the Social Security Advisory Board, a bipartisan federal agency that advises the President, Congress, and the Social Security Commissioner. She started her career as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Social Security Administration and also worked at the White House. She holds a BA in Political Science and a BA in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech, and a Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at UT Austin.
