Steve Venema is a Distinguished Engineer in the Office of the CTO at ForgeRock, and is working on identity standards, Company strategy, and technical R&D. Steve has extensive experience with OT technologies, having earned a MS and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering with a focus on control systems, robotics and real-time haptic simulation. He subsequently spent many years at Boeing developing and deploying new OT security technologies to better protect Boeing’s manufacturing automation systems. Steve also helped lead the development of new public architecture and standards documents around protecting OT systems under the aegis of the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), International Society for Automation (ISA), and The Open Group (TOG).
