Janelle Allen is an Engineering Product Manager for Cisco, Webex Identity. She drives identity management for the Webex platform and owns the identity lifecycle. She is a founding member of IDPro and currently serves on its board as the acting treasurer. She holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, where she started developing early privileged access management software and hyper-personalized software during the dot-com era. She consulted for several years designing and deploying identity and access systems for transportation, healthcare, communications, financial and technology sectors within the US and Canada before transitioning into product management at ForgeRock. In addition to IDPro, she is a member of The Kantara Initiative and Women in Identity and participates in the IETF SCIM working group. She lives with her husband and two children in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They enjoy hiking, kayaking and camping in the Canadian Rockies.
