Identity was once regarded as a supporting technology, passively built to cater to applications and business needs. However, in recent years, there has been a noticeable shift towards an identity-first approach, becoming identity-centric, and putting identity at the core with concepts like self-sovereign identity. This evolution has led to increased awareness of identity among C-suite executives, boards, and the general public. With this newfound power, the question arises: What do we do with it? Where do we steer our industry next? In this session, we will embark on a collective (including you) thought exercise to retrace our past, take stock of our current tools, and envision our future over the next 10, 20, or even 50 years. What are our aspirations? Let's collaborate to turn them into reality.
