Shayne Miel is a principal engineer at Cisco and is currently the architect of Cisco's Continuous Trusted Access suite of solutions - products that use signals of risk and trust to provide just-in-time security while keeping friction low for end users. As part of that work, he created Duo's Risk Based Factor Selection, Verified Push, Wifi Fingerprint, and more. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Shayne loves to apply his expertise in software engineering, data science, machine learning, product development, and anomaly detection to help build tools that keep Cisco's users safe. A published author, touring musician, educator, and father of two, Shayne is also a co-editor of OpenID's new Shared Signals Framework.
