Mr. Alec Laws is interested in the ways that technology can be used to solve real-world security, identity, and privacy challenges. He is currently focused on transforming the digital healthcare space by building ecosystems of trust to enable digital sharing and identities. He is a strong supporter of open standards such as User-Managed Access (UMA 2.0).  With 10 years of development experience, in his current role of CTO, he works on developing and architecting software solutions with the support of a growing team of developers. He graduated from McGill University with a BS in physics and a minor in computer science. He has a breadth of knowledge across a range of technologies and languages. With specialties in mobile development, solution architecture, and secure systems development.
