Michelle Wan is a Senior Development Engineering Manager of Security Products at Workday. In her 9+ years at Workday, Michelle has grown from developing business applications to leading the development of robust authorization systems. Currently, she leads the Configurable Security engineering team, responsible for enabling Workday customers to control data access, implement security policies, and update them at scale. Michelle has led initiatives to introduce fine-grained access controls, monitor and scale security evaluations, develop advanced auditing and reporting capabilities, and integrate products for a seamless customer experience. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University. She has presented at conferences such as Identiverse and Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) to promote and advance security and development best practices.
