Formerly known as the "Sebastian zhe German" (in the IDpro community), the IdentiBeerGuy not only provides said brewed concoctions to Identity Conference attendees since 2023, he also is one of the persons behind founding the "Authorati" community which led to AuthZEN working group and the standardization efforts seen in OpenID Foundation. Despite trying hard, his two recent applications to run for office at that foundation, he just did not win a seat...yet! Congratz to Nat-Sensei ;-) Being a former industry analyst with KuppingerCole in Germany, he founded a number of startups in the identity space in the DACH region and now ist mostly focused on Machine Identity / Non-Human Identity (MI/NHI) as well as Secrets Management and all sorts of Privileged Access Management. He currently is a Managing Director of both umbrella.associates as well as Umbrella Security Operations, providing both strategic advisory services as well as offering VAR/SI services for select IAM/PAM solutions
