Meanwhile, identity-related cybercrime has soared to record levels, privacy and equity concerns around identity have grown more complex, and most of America’s peers have launched significant initiatives on the digital identity front – raising concerns that the lack of an American plan may soon impact the country’s competitiveness. This session will dive into where we are and how we got there, as well as explore how new legislation like the Improving Digital Identity Act might provide a policy foundation for better digital identity infrastructure in the U.S.
