Uday Survi is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience in Information Technology. As the Senior Director of Cybersecurity at Ascension Health, he oversees IAM Engineering, Access Operations, Authentication & Directory Services, and Cloud Identity & Governance. He plays a pivotal role in defining and executing Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy, leading modernization efforts to enhance security across the organization. A Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Uday has extensive expertise in IAM, security risk management, compliance, security event monitoring, and data protection. His leadership has driven enterprise security solutions that align with regulatory standards such as PCI, HIPAA, NIST, SOX, and COBIT. Beyond his work at Ascension, Uday provides consulting services to organizations looking to modernize their IAM frameworks. Prior to Ascension, Uday spent 16 years at Mastercard Worldwide, where he held diverse leadership roles, spearheaded Agile methodology transformations, and championed Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. His strategic leadership extended to mergers & acquisitions, where he conducted technology due diligence for 19 acquisitions and led seven major infrastructure integrations. Uday is also an innovator and patent holder, with three patent applications filed in 2015, two of which were granted in 2018. His global experience includes managing large-scale teams, overseeing the development and 24/7 support of secure enterprise platforms. Academically, Uday holds an MBA from Saint Louis University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. He also completed a Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Fellows Program with the St. Louis Regional Chamber.
