Identity Defined Security Alliance
Session Abstract: With identity-related breaches remaining a continual threat, the business impact of handling identity correctly—and incorrectly—has never been more clear. In fact, 84% of organizations surveyed in 2022 reported an identity-related breach, with 78% experiencing direct business impacts. Between the increasing number of identities, attackers reinventing their playbooks, and the continued growth of cloud adoption, enterprises are under pressure to ensure that all identities (human and non-human) are equally protected. Can organizations ever eliminate the threat or just mitigate it? The fourth annual Trends in Security Digital Identities report, sponsored by the Identity Defined Security Alliance and conducted by Dimensional Research, will provide the latest insights into the progress organizations are making to shore up their identity foundation, establishing an “identity-first culture,” and successfully defend against identity-related attacks. Based on survey, results, this panel session will debate: • How can we get ahead in the battle to secure our digital ecosystem? • What investments should we be making to reduce the risk of an identity-related attack? • Can an executive-level communication plan for protecting identities actually work?
