As enterprises rapidly adopt AI to accelerate productivity and automation, a new class of Non-Human Identities (NHIs) is emerging: Agentic AI. These agents are capable of initiating actions, making decisions, and interacting with enterprise systems, often with elevated access privileges. But unlike traditional service accounts, AI agents operate with dynamic behavior and intent, presenting a novel set of identity and security challenges. This session will focus on the rise of AI agents as NHIs, explore their implications for identity and access management (IAM), and discuss emerging strategies to secure these powerful new entities in the enterprise ecosystem.
