Libby Brown is a seasoned product and program manager with extensive experience in digital identity, authentication, and credential management. Currently a Senior Product Manager at SpruceID, she leads the development of digital credential issuance and verification platforms, engaging with customers from initial vision to implementation. She also contributes to the digital identity community through standards body involvement and thought leadership. Before joining SpruceID, Libby spent over 15 years at Microsoft in various leadership roles. As Senior Program Manager on the Cloud Authentication Team, she drove adoption of passwordless authentication technologies, growing Azure AD passwordless users by over 300%. Her work also included advancing Azure AD’s mobile strategy in response to Executive Order 14028 for phishing-resistant (passkey) authentication. Libby’s career began in publishing and technology, including roles at Congressional Quarterly and Columbia Books. She holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BA in Public Policy Studies and Russian Studies from Duke University. Libby is known for her ability to bridge business and technical perspectives, delivering solutions that enhance user security and satisfaction.
