Andrew McClure is a Managing Director at Forgepoint Capital and invests in early- and growth stage companies building innovative technologies that protect the digital world.  With over $1 billion assets under management, Forgepoint Capital based in silicon valley is one of the largest and most active venture capital firm focused on cybersecurity.  He currently serves on the Boards at Constella Intelligence, Converge Insurance, CyberCube Analytics, Hyperproof, and Surefire Cyber.  He was previously on the Boards at Prevoty (acquired by Imperva), BehavioSec (acquired by LexisNexis), Cysiv (acquired by ForeScout), and WireWheel (acquired by Osano).  Andrew has led several spinout investments for Forgepoint and has started two businesses at the firm.  Prior to Forgepoint, Andrew served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he led cross-functional teams in Afghanistan, the Middle East, East Africa, and Australia.   A graduate of U.S. Naval Academy (B.S. Astrophysics), he also holds advanced degrees from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and MIT’s Sloan School of Management.  He is a senior fellow at the National Security Institute and a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations.  He currently resides with his wife and six children in Mountain View, California.
