Dr. Sridhar Muppidi is an IBM Fellow and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of IBM Security. In this role, he directs the technical strategy, architecture, and research for security products. With over 25 years of experience in developing advanced security solutions and managing high-performing technical teams, Dr. Muppidi is a recognized thought leader in cybersecurity. He has played a crucial role in establishing IBM Security as one of the industry's largest and most innovative organizations.     Dr. Muppidi earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and serves on its Board of Advisors. As an IBM Master Inventor with over 60 patents, he has made significant contributions to academic research and the development of open security initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and engaging in other outdoor activities.
