Ben Flatgard is an Executive Director with JPMorgan Chase & Co. He leads public policy development and advocacy, as well as partnership initiatives, to improve the cybersecurity of the firm, its customers and clients, and the broader digital ecosystem.  Ben previously served in the Obama Administration from 2009-2017. In his most recent post as Director for Cybersecurity Policy on the National Security Council, Ben was responsible for leading cybersecurity policy development related to protection of critical infrastructure and emerging technologies. Before joining the National Security Council, Ben served as Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Institutions. Prior to his time at Treasury, Ben held positions at the Department of Commerce and the White House.  Ben graduated from the University of Edinburgh. He has held fellowships at the Atlantic Council and the University of Sydney.
