Naomi Baur is a researcher for the London School of Economics, Women in Identity research volunteer and a strategy and technical consultant specialising in digital identity and biometrics. Naomi currently holds dual roles at Beruku Identity and Ingenium Biometric Laboratories, where she leads complex consulting engagements with international government stakeholders and global technology firms.
With experience spanning government policy, emerging technologies, and identity governance, her work includes designing policy roadmaps, managing biometric security testing, and spearheading the development of identity technology testing standards. Her early career in advertising and audience analytics at JCDecaux, combined with ongoing volunteer work in tech-for-good initiatives such as Women in Identity, reflects her commitment to ethical innovation and social impact. She is also a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Digital Identity, contributing to thought leadership on interoperability and online safety. She holds an MSc in Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation from the London School of Economics, where she conducted research on digital identity frameworks and fraud prevention.
