Paul Heim is a well-respected and experienced professional who develops, operationalizes, and leads the strategic adoption of globally recognized industry standards. Currently the head of certification programs at FIDO Alliance, Paul has previously served roles across different markets in similar industry consortia: EIDR (Entertainment Identifier Registry), EMVCo, and GlobalPlatform. Having joined FIDO in 2018, Paul supported the ushering in of technical requirements and specifications in authentication, biometrics, identity verification, and device onboarding. Now he leads product certifications across all work areas, focusing on certification adoption, and identifying and cultivating key market drivers.
