OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect have been one of the most fundamental frameworks with applications in social logins and data sharing. The current standard OAuth framework is designed for unidirectional data sharing, with one of the partners being the relying party. Modern applications need data sharing bidirectionally between partners. We present a framework built on top of the current OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect frameworks, which allows for bidirectional user authorization and subsequent data sharing.
