With more than 30 years of experience across security architecture, identity systems, and software development, Steve “Hutch” Hutchinson is a recognized leader in shaping how organizations build and defend digital identity at scale. As Director of Security Architecture at MUFG, one of the world’s largest financial institutions, he leads the design and implementation of the Bank’s global identity strategy, enabling secure, seamless, and resilient access for users, systems, and services worldwide.

Hutch also serves as Board Member Emeritus of IDPro, the professional association advancing the identity discipline. As a founding board member, he helped establish IDPro’s community, events, and foundational Body of Knowledge that continues to define the field.
