Charlie Cetin is an Engineering Manager on Yelp’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. He leads the strategy and development of secure, reliable systems that enforce least privilege and strengthen Yelp’s IAM posture. Charlie holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of South Florida, where he researched passwordless and other cryptographic authentication protocols. His professional interests include access control, cryptographic protocol design, and threat modeling. Outside of work, he enjoys road trips, cooking, and swimming.
