Monique Maimon brings over 18 years of experience across Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Governance, building a career at the intersection of technology, risk, and leadership. She began in the casino gaming industry, managing applications and databases within highly regulated environments before transitioning into healthcare technology, where she developed expertise in systems administration, networking, storage, and cybersecurity.
As a former IT Director for a managed service provider supporting government subcontractors, Monique developed a strong foundation in federal compliance, multi-tenant operations, and secure infrastructure design with designing the cybersecurity program from the ground up. These experiences shaped a deep understanding of how governance, security, and technology intersect to drive organizational resilience.
Prior to joining JB&B, Monique served as an IT Director at a managed service provider supporting government subcontractors, where she built and led cybersecurity programs, strengthened federal compliance frameworks, and designed secure, multi-tenant infrastructure environments. In her current role as Cybersecurity & IT Systems Architect at Jaros, Baum & Bolles, Monique leads initiatives focused on infrastructure modernization, operational efficiency, enterprise security strategy, and risk management.
She is an active leader in the professional community, serving as President of the ISACA Las Vegas Chapter and contributing to (ISC)² and ISSA. Monique holds multiple industry certifications, including CISM, CISSP, CCSP, AAISM, VMware VCP, MCSA, and CompTIA credentials such as Security+ and CySA+, and is an accredited ISACA CISM/AAISM Trainer who recently contributed to the development of CompTIA’s A+ (220-1200) certification series and the latest CompTIA Network+.
