As Okta’s Distinguished Strategic Advisor and Field Chief Technology Officer, Morgan works with senior leaders from public sector organizations and their partners to share real-world examples of innovation in government, and develops strategies for modernizing workforce and customer identity to improve user experience while strengthening cybersecurity. Prior to joining Okta, Morgan led the Executive Advisory team for Amazon Web Services, after serving as Chief Information Officer for the State of Arizona where he standardized cybersecurity solutions for 40,000 employees over 100,000 endpoints. He spearheaded the state’s migration to the cloud, moving the majority of legacy technology to modern platforms including AWS, Google, Okta and Salesforce. Before working in the public sector, Morgan led teams at tech companies such as Expedia, GoDaddy and Intel.
