Shimon Modi bridges cutting-edge cybersecurity research with commercial innovation, bringing over 20 years of experience building and scaling enterprise security solutions. His career spans technical and executive leadership roles across industry, government, and academia, with a proven track record of driving security innovation and go-to-market success. Currently serving as SVP of Product and Product Marketing at Arkose Labs, Shimon shapes the company's fraud prevention and mitigation platform. Previously, he held executive roles as VP of Cyber Product at Dataminr, Director of Product at Elastic Security, and VP of Product and Engineering at TruSTAR, a threat intelligence platform acquired by Splunk. Earlier in his career, he led cybersecurity R&D initiatives at Accenture Technology Labs, focusing on threat intelligence and IoT security. Beyond building commercial solutions, Shimon has shaped cybersecurity standards and thought leadership at the national and international levels. He has served as a technical expert on US National standards and as a delegate for the US National Body on ISO biometrics standards. His research contributions include an authored book, co-authored book chapters, and over 15 published technical journal and conference articles. Shimon holds a Ph.D. in Biometrics and Information Security from Purdue University.
