As users, we want our credentials to work safely wherever we are in the world —wherever we choose to assert our names, the education credentials we've earned, our ability to drive, or any other data that helps us build trust in our environment.
But whether we are talking about individual jurisdictions or ecosystems that transcend national borders, implementers face meaningful challenges as they build secure, rights-enhancing identity systems that deliver global value to users.
Over 2024, we studied these challenges with identity leaders around the world, holding sessions on four continents, engaging academics, non-profits, standards bodies. and international organizations [like the UN, World Bank, OECD, etc.] across tech, policy, and use case workstreams.
