Elizabeth Garber is an entrepreneur and thought leader working towards human-centric, rights-enhancing identity ecosystems. She has led three collaborations focused on high-trust, globally interoperable identity: the Open Digital Trust Initiative at the Institute of International Finance, the Global Assured Identity Network (GAIN), and SIDI Hub. She is the Marketing Director at the OpenID Foundation and co-chairs OIDF’s GAIN Technical POC. She has authored numerous papers that link technology to policy and institutional governance, including GAIN Digital Trust, GAIN in 2023, Human-Centric Digital Identity, and several SIDI Hub reports. Beyond this work, she is passionate about inclusive capacity-building in the identity industry, supporting organizations like IDPro and the Digital Identity Advancement Foundation (DIAF). She’s also a regular cast member in the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater scene across the Greater Boston area.
