WIth over two decades experience in the Identity space, including experience at two major research labs and multiple R1 universities, Shannon has a unique perspective on highly complex IAM environments that defy many usual assumptions.  He has also consulted in the Federal and Defense spaces, where many of the complex use cases and lessons learned in R&E are equally applicable to those large scale, highly secure and complex environments.  Most recently, he has become interested and active in several standards bodies and initiatives.
