Espen is the founder and maintainer of the growing identity professionals network IdentiBeer (See identi.beer), and is currently Head of IAM at Gritera.He started as a mainframe and server engineer when the internet was still innocent in the 90's, and discovered the importance of reliable identity around the turn of the millennium. Since then he's been busy setting up IAM programs for various organizations, as well as incorporating identity in the business and security road maps of large companies around the world.He is a former IAM analyst with Gartner, and is a founding member of the IDPro, including work on the Body of Knowledge Committee and the Certification Committee.
