Michele Leroux Bustamante is co-founder and CEO of Solliance and founder of PolicyServer. She is a Cloud and Security Architect and has been a Microsoft Regional Director since 2003. Michele is widely recognized for her expertise in software architecture and identity and access management, including the design and delivery of modern identity, authorization, and zero-trust architectures for cloud-native systems at scale. With over 25 years of experience, Michele has led identity-centric initiatives across consumer, enterprise, and regulated environments, helping organizations modernize authentication, authorization, federation, and access governance while meeting security, compliance, and availability requirements. She has held senior executive and technical leadership roles, built and led high-performing global teams, and delivered platforms serving tens of millions of users. At Solliance, Michele provides both technical and strategic leadership and regularly shares real-world insights through publications, books, and international workshops, conference sessions, and keynotes. Michele currently serves on the board of IDPro, the nonprofit professional association for identity practitioners.
