Catherine Schulten is Staff Product Manager at Walmart where she is responsible for orchestrating product roadmap initiatives and championing product strategy around patient identity. Catherine is responsible for instilling product management processes and leading the effort to establish a first of its kind, enterprise identity management service for all Walmart patients. Most recently, she has participated in the ONC’s FAST Initiative Identity Tiger Team (now part of the HL7 FHIR ACCELERATOR™ Program) whose goals are to: • Identify appropriate national standards for individual and organizational identity matching. • Define approach to implementation and testing. • Identify best practices for reconciliation of identification across multiple sources. (e.g., patient matching) Catherine is also a long serving member of Kantara, Women in Identity and is a founding member of IDPro.
